Unlockd

Unlockd is a marketplace where people pay for everyday gift cards with crypto. Pick a brand, pay in Bitcoin, USDT or another coin, and the card code is delivered once the payment confirms. I designed, built and launched the whole product myself, from the design to the server it runs on.

• Crypto holders who want to spend on everyday brands are stuck cashing out first, with fees and delays
• Gift card suppliers price in different currencies and regions, so a card that works in one country is useless in another
• A paid order must never issue a card twice, or fail to issue one, even if a supplier times out mid-order

• A storefront with category browsing, brand search, product pages, "how it works" guides, product FAQs and similar-card suggestions
• A country model: shoppers only see cards that work where they are, detected from their browser, with a country picker and a display-currency switcher
• Cards priced in their own currency (USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD), with live crypto conversion
• Two gift card supplier integrations behind one provider layer, with catalogue sync and pricing taken from real supplier cost
• A fulfilment worker that places, confirms and delivers orders exactly once, with safe retries
• An admin dashboard where every setting is editable: store, site content, FAQs, suppliers, payments, email, with secrets encrypted at rest

One person took a fintech-style product from a design canvas to a live, self-hosted marketplace in days, with the order safety a real payments business needs.
